📸 What You'll Do
- Perform CT Scan procedures with precision and care, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as 2D, 3D, 4D, MIP, VR, and SSD imaging to cater to diverse patient needs.
- Instruct and mentor Radiology students and new employees, fostering a learning environment.
- Maintain and manage inventory, ensuring all necessary supplies are available and equipment is in optimal condition.
- Implement ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
- Coordinate workflow and staff assignments to maximize department efficiency and patient throughput.
- Stay proficient in special procedures, including biopsies, drainages, and ablations using advanced technologies.
- Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care aligned with our mission and values.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited program in Computed Tomography.
- Active registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
- Current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- RI state radiation license and CT supplemental license from the DOH.
- Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist, plus specialized training in CT Scanner operation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and instruct students and staff.
- Analytical skills to compile and interpret data, ensuring high-quality radiographs.
