📸 What You'll Do

• Perform advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging results
• Lead and mentor a team of MRI technologists, providing technical guidance and support
• Instruct and supervise Radiology Technology students, enhancing their clinical experience
• Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the MRI department
• Conduct equipment checks and coordinate repairs to maintain optimal functionality
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines and protocols
• Assume charge responsibilities in the absence of the MRI Manager
• Coordinate and review the work of other technologists, providing performance feedback
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest MRI technologies and techniques
• Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
• Current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
• Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting, plus specialized training in MRI operations
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and moving patients
• Experience in a healthcare environment with direct patient contact
