📸 What You'll Do
- Perform advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging results
- Lead and mentor a team of MRI technologists, providing technical guidance and support
- Instruct and supervise Radiology Technology students, enhancing their clinical experience
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the smooth operation of the MRI department
- Conduct equipment checks and coordinate repairs to maintain optimal functionality
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines and protocols
- Assume charge responsibilities in the absence of the MRI Manager
- Coordinate and review the work of other technologists, providing performance feedback
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest MRI technologies and techniques
- Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting, plus specialized training in MRI operations
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and moving patients
- Experience in a healthcare environment with direct patient contact
