📸 What You'll Do

  • Perform all duties of an MRI Technologist in routine and complex imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Provide clinical experience and instruction to Radiology Technology students.
  • Offer on-the-job instruction to employees in clinical procedures.
  • Manage clerical and administrative tasks such as inventory, ordering supplies, and compiling statistics.
  • Ensure safety practices regarding strong magnetic fields as per MRI safety guidelines.
  • Assume charge responsibility in the absence of the MRI Manager.
  • Direct and review the work of others, providing input for performance appraisals and competency evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Registered and in good standing with ARRT or ARMRIT.
  • Current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff under stress.
  • Experience as a Radiologic Technologist and specialized training in MRI operations.
  • Ability to work in environments with high magnetic fields and handle physical demands.
