📸 What You'll Do

• Perform complex procedures in CT in a busy Radiology Department.
• Assure quality results.
• Train fellow students and staff in imaging procedures and techniques.
• Work with state-of-the-art technology including GE Revolution Ascend and Ulrich CT Motion Injector.
• Engage in a teaching environment with training available for all types of cardiac imaging.
• Collaborate in a team environment with support staff assisting in patient transport and ancillary duties.
• Operate a CT scanner and related equipment to produce radiographs of designated anatomical areas.
• Foster patient and family-centered care in accordance with Brown University Health's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Must hold a RI state Radiology license and CT supplemental license from the DOH.
• Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
• Current CPR certification from AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required, plus registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists.
• Six months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital radiology department, plus six months of specialized training in the operation of the CT Scanner.
• Ability to work in the CT Scan area or satellite areas with minimal discomfort due to noise, dust, or temperature.
• Capability to stand for long periods, walk, push portable equipment, and lift and position patients.
