📸 What You'll Do

  • Perform complex technical procedures using medical diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
  • Provide routine ultrasound and vascular services to patients of all ages.
  • Demonstrate understanding of hospital's mission, vision, and values.
  • Comply with department and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and practice aseptic techniques.
  • Conduct visual checks of equipment to ensure safe condition.
  • Explain procedures to patients and perform routine exams.
  • Provide technical assistance for various biopsies and procedures.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with Doppler and vascular capabilities.
  • Provide radiologists with preliminary interpretations and review cases.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent and completion of allied health training program.
  • Two years of ultrasound experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • ARDMS registration required for experienced Sonographers; new graduates must obtain within 6 months.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 1-3 hours and lift 50 lbs with good body mechanics.
  • Accurate vision and hearing abilities required.
