📸 What You'll Do

  • Coordinate educational programs at clinical sites for students to learn applied aspects of their field.
  • Prepare curriculum and teach classes under the direction of the Education Director.
  • Interview candidates for the program and make recommendations regarding their admission.
  • Develop and oversee student orientation plans for educational programs.
  • Design and evaluate curriculum compliance with recommendations and mandates from approving agencies.
  • Provide both didactic and laboratory instruction, validate clinical competencies, and counsel students.
  • Maintain current knowledge of students' clinical progress and document competencies.
  • Oversee individual student progress and provide counseling to support their advancement.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and educational materials to ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for conflict resolution and clinical-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Hold American Registry of Radiologic Technologists current registration in computed tomography and unrestricted state license (Rhode Island) in computed tomography.
  • Baccalaureate degree preferred; work experience in the field also accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Two years of experience in the particular modality or specialty.
  • Current knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively with all parties.
  • Analytical ability to assess federal and state laws and their impact on educational programs.
