📸 What You'll Do

  • Perform CT exams on patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform all types of CT exams based on established protocols, including head, abdomen, pelvis, sinus, neck, chest, and lumbar spine.
  • Complete Contrast Material Questionnaire to identify prior history of contrast reaction.
  • Prep patients, start IVs, and administer contrast for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Set up and utilize immobilization devices for patients of all ages.
  • Set up and operate Power Injector and establish proper protocols.
  • Perform special reconstruction and segmentation as needed.
  • Operate Film Laser Camera and use Teleradiology PACS and RIS systems.
  • Schedule patients and ensure preps are distributed.
  • Assist radiologists with abscess drainage and needle biopsies.

Qualifications

  • High school graduation or equivalent required.
  • ARRT (RCT) registered with current State of RI Radiographer License and current State of Rhode Island Diagnostic Computed Tomography License or ARRT (CT) with current State of Rhode Island Diagnostic Computed Tomography License.
  • At least 3 months of experience performing routine diagnostic radiology or CT exams.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Physical ability to sit for 7 or more hours, stand/squat for 1-3 hours, walk for 3-7 hours, and lift 10-35 pounds with good body mechanics.
  • Accurate near vision at 20/20, far vision at 20/40, and accurate depth perception with minimal color discrimination.
  • Must hear a whisper at three feet.
