📸 What You'll Do

• Set up cleaning room and perform cleaning activities using aseptic techniques.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopes and accessories according to established procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Test disinfecting solutions daily and adjust as necessary.
• Package and label equipment for sterilization procedures.
• Maintain appropriate supply levels and restock materials as needed.
• Pick up and deliver materials, including x-ray cassettes and supplies, to support department activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and assist in room setup and closure.
• Provide assistance to patients, such as helping with dressing and providing refreshments.
• Prepare and maintain records related to equipment and solution testing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques for cleaning and disinfecting equipment.
• Clerical and numerical ability for inventory and record maintenance.
• Interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Up to one month of on-the-job training for area-specific procedures.
• Previous knowledge of disinfecting techniques preferred.
• Ability to frequently walk/stand and adhere to safety policies in a patient care environment.
